  8.  AB    The use of carbon dioxide laser for 38 posthetomies or therapeutic
  9.        circumcisions in the treatment of phimosis, paraphimosis, balanitis of
  10.        Zoon or a genital infection by the human papillomaviurs permits clean
  11.        and hemostatic incisions. The clean and dry wound produced by the carbon
  12.        dioxide beam offers several advantages. It reduces the surgeon's risk of
  13.        contamination by the HIV virus and the subsequent sear is regular and
  14.        without edema. In 57% of primary phimosis cases, the histological
  15.        analysis showed a lichen sclerosus et atrophicus.
